My entertainment ranges from the telling of well known stories - like the coming of Merlin (one of my favourites), true tales and yarns from around the world - to my own idiosyncratic stories. I may bring puppets and other props to a performance. My own Hippo story is told with a distinctive costume change in the middle!

 I am keen that my audiences (whatever their age) experience a range of emotions. Laugh at the embarrassment of characters like Sir Gawain trapped alone in the castle with the seductive Lord’s Lady! Or feel the sadness of a dog’s death in Down Under (my own story).

World Book Day, Trafalgar Day, National Story Telling Week, historic anniversaries, festivals can all be marked with a tale or two. Outdoor events can be enriched with a special time for a story.
