Performing to Adults

In the last year I have enjoyed many diverse opportunities working with adults on storytelling. For example I have been asked to finish off dinners with a story adapted especially for the occasion; these have included my own stories as well as Norse legends. I have performed in pubs telling Christmas stories and some well known myths. I  have helped at charity events by telling tales or leading a workshop.

I have led training workshops with teachers and Forest School Leaders on telling stories and the techniques involved in this. I have worked in schools with fathers looking at interactions with their children around stories. One nursery asked me to do a presentation for parents on developing children's imagination. I told one of my own stories, a dark tale, to a group of Headteachers at the end of a working dinner. I also trained the education staff at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust to tell my Duck Soup Story written especially for their Maths Trail.

I write stories especially for an adult audience when requested.
